FRIDAY 29th JANUARY 2027: DEREK NASH (saxophone)
We are thrilled to kick off the new year with Derek Nash. His busy schedule includes performing and arranging for the Jools Holland Rhythm and Blues Orchestra, touring with his own acoustic quartet, as well as Picante – a Latin jazz project and with vocalist Noel McCalla in The Wonder of Stevie. Performing on alto, tenor, soprano and baritone saxophones, Derek brings an energy and verve few can match.
“Nash is a live-wire musician, game to play in a variety of ways and in a multiplicity of situations….” Peter Vacher, Jazzwise
Derek Nash will be accompanied by the Andy Urquhart Quartet
