Liane Carroll returns for her first visit of 2023. In her illustrious 30-year career she has performed at Ronnie Scott’s, Pizza Express, the Royal Albert Hall, even Glastonbury and maintains a residency in her home town Hastings. She is admired in Europe and the States and has a close relationship with contemporaries Ian Shaw and Claire Martin. Her repertoire is eclectic but includes the great American songbook and some modern classics. Liane is now, rightly, considered a national treasure. With her warmth, easy wit and her natural talent as an improvisor  it is often said that her recordings don’t match the intensity of her live performances.
