We have always strived to present the cream of UK jazz to the South coast with performances of quality, drama and intimacy that are the equal of any London venue. Leading this crusade for the last 30 years has been local legend trumpeter Andy Urquhart and his revolving team of star sidemen. As a testament to their professionalism it is fitting that they are joined by one of the UK’s finest collaborators, Alan Barnes. A virtuoso on alto, baritone and clarinet, Alan is a fine exponent of a mainstream tradition but is nonetheless a fearless improvisor.

Alan and Andy will be joined by a rotating rhythm section of familiar faces.
