Live music returns to the Jazz Cafe in the summer, kicking off with a birthday reunion for Bournemouth-born R&B legend Zoot Money who brings along his Big Roll Band.

In the mid-sixties Zoot Money and the Big Roll Band became a big attraction at The Flamingo Club alongside the likes of Georgie Fame and The Blue Flames, The Animals, Alexis Korner and John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers. Famed as much for his onstage antics as his gutsy vocal delivery and the tightness of his band, Zoot Money went on to pursue a parallel career in the eighties as an actor in film and television. Zoot Money and The Big Roll Band continue to roll on, touring continuously and making regular appearances at The Bulls Head, Barnes.

You can expect plenty of banter, some hilarious anecdotes and some no-nonsense blues.
