One of Britain’s leading tenor saxophonists since the sixties, also a highly accomplished orthopaedic surgeon, Art Themen, has played alongside the likes of Michael Garrick and Stan Tracey and has developed a unique and idiosyncratic style. In his early years he was part of the British Blues explosion. Today he is hailed as one of our most versatile and accommodating of performers.
